2008
Travelled from Costa Rica to Mexico via Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and Belize during the summer of 2008. This journey took us from colourful colonial towns, mystical cloud forest and Mayan ruins, to smoking volcanoes, idyllic Caribbean islands and the wild Pacific coast. Worked with the Cycle of Life team during preparations for an epic venture, which took the team of cyclists from Namibia to Kenya to raise money and awareness for environmentally responsible community development projects in rural Africa.

Majority of the year spent on the desert coast of Namibia researching the behavioural, social and spatial dynamics of black-backed jackals (Canis mesomelas).
Winner of the Natural World category in the 2005 Travel Photographer of the Year competition.
Semi finalist in the Animal Portrait category of BG 2005 Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
